What to Expect at the Spa
A spa visit is a planned relaxation experience — from the moment you walk in until you rise from the rest area. If it's your first time, here's how it flows: in a short welcome chat we listen to what you need that day, shape your programme together, and show you to your private room — the rest is time that belongs entirely to you. You don't need to know what you want in advance; recommending the right programme is our job.
- Welcome and needs chat — Where has the tiredness settled? Are you after silence, skin care or muscle release? The programme takes shape around your answers.
- Choosing the programme — Massage, hammam, sauna, skin care or a combination; length and order are arranged to suit you.
- Preparation — You receive your single-use textiles and cabin key, and change at your own pace.
- The treatments — Sessions take place in your own private room with sterilised materials; you set the tempo at every stage.
- Rest and refreshments — The programme closes with herbal tea and treats as you ease gently back into the day.
One rule applies throughout: no rushing. The real value of a spa day is uninterrupted time for yourself.
How Should You Plan Your Spa Day?
The formula for a good spa programme is simple: heat first, then touch, rest last. Heat (hammam or sauna) softens the muscles; massage works far deeper on a body prepared this way; and the closing rest seals the experience. Three sample flows by time available:
- Quick break (60-75 min): A short sauna round + a 50-minute classic massage. The most practical choice after work.
- Classic spa (about 2 hours): The hammam ritual (kese & foam) + massage + a tea break. The most balanced programme for a first spa visit.
- Full renewal (half a day): Sauna + hammam + aromatherapy massage + skin care + a long rest. Ideal for special occasions or a "reset" after an intense period.
Do I need to choose the programme in advance?
Not at all. We sketch a rough outline on the phone and fine-tune it at the salon according to how you feel. Our only tip concerns timing: allow at least 2 hours for programmes that include the hammam; massage-focused short programmes finish in 60-90 minutes. We are open every day from 09:00 to 01:00, so late-evening programmes are possible too.
What Does a Spa Visit Give You?
The most tangible gain of a spa visit is a few uninterrupted hours that are entirely yours: no phone, no rushing, no decision fatigue. That pause shows itself as eased muscle tension, a feeling of better sleep and a calm that carries into the next day.
- Physical ease: The heat-plus-massage combination helps soften the everyday tension that gathers along the shoulders, neck and lower back.
- A refreshed mind: A quiet room, soft light and aromatherapy scents make it easier for the mind to leave "always-on" mode.
- Skin care: After kese, peeling and moisturising treatments the skin looks visibly refreshed.
- The ritual effect: Regular spa breaks are a planned promise of self-care rather than a haphazard one — and that's what makes them sustainable.
How often should you take a spa break?
As a rough measure, one full programme a month or a short break every two to three weeks keeps the balance for most working people. In intense periods — a project deadline, exam week, moving house — a spa day planned for the finish line also works as motivation: "when this is done, this is my gift to myself." The right frequency depends on your own tempo; we adapt the programme to how you feel on the day, every time.
An honest note: a spa is not a medical treatment and should never be marketed as one. For chronic pain or health conditions, talk to your doctor first — and we'll happily adapt your spa programme around that advice.
What Should You Know Before Your Spa Visit?
The short answer: just bring yourself. Peshtemal, towels, slippers and all personal textiles are new and single-use for every guest; care products are ready at the salon. A few details to make the experience seamless:
- Arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment so the welcome chat and preparation aren't rushed.
- Eat something light 1-2 hours beforehand; a full stomach spoils the comfort of flows that include the hammam or sauna.
- Drink plenty of water during the day; hydration matters before and after heat treatments.
- You can leave jewellery and valuables in your lockable cabin; treatments are most comfortable without accessories.
- If you've had a facial or skin treatment, skip sunbathing and heavy make-up that day; let the skin rest.
- If you are pregnant or live with a heart, blood-pressure or ongoing health condition, consult your doctor before the programme and mention it when booking — we'll plan a heat-free flow that suits you.
The hygiene side is our job: rooms are aired and disinfected after every session, materials are sterilised, and textiles are never used twice. Ask us anything before your session — we never begin a treatment you don't feel fully clear about.
How Does the Spa Work for Couples and Groups?
A spa experience is even better shared: in couples' programmes the sessions run in parallel and you spend the rest break together. For anniversaries, birthdays or simply "something good for the two of us", the hammam + massage combination is the most loved flow; we tune the timing and content to suit you both.
We also plan sequenced sessions for groups of friends and special celebrations, staggering the times so everyone's programme fits into a single visit. Allow about an hour for a single treatment and 2–3 hours for a full spa day. An unhurried visit with rest breaks in between noticeably deepens the benefit.
Yes — our private couples room hosts simultaneous massage and spa experiences for two. Ask about our couples packages for anniversaries and special days.
Come in comfortable clothes, avoid heavy meals for 1–2 hours beforehand and drink plenty of water. Leaving jewellery at home and silencing your phone makes the experience all the more relaxing.
