What is Sports Massage?

Sports massage is targeted deep-tissue work designed around the needs of people who train regularly or live actively. The aim is not just relaxation: it supports post-training recovery, releases stiffness along the muscle chains and helps protect range of motion.

At Relax Spa VIP the session is planned around your sport and the week's training load: for runners the posterior leg chain comes first, for gym athletes the shoulder-chest line, for footballers the hips and calves. Deep-tissue techniques are combined with stretching and friction work.

The 60-minute session runs in two modes: pre-training preparation (lighter tempo) or post-training recovery (deeper work). You and your therapist choose the right mode together — just describe your programme.
